Ok, time for something not Uncharted related. When I was at work for a short 2 weeks, I like what I do and all but there are days when I just wanted to hit my head repeatedly on the table. So music was pretty much essential for getting me through the day. I took Colbie Caillat’s newest album “Breakthrough” with me to work, not expecting much cause her first album was just okay…but to my surprise this album rocks! It’s the kind of album where you listen track by track and go…hey this song is good, hey the next song is good too. And it goes on and on until you realise you’re on the last track. It’s hard to choose my favourite track but here are a few:

Interesting fact, she auditioned for American Idol but didn’t make it through. Oh well…thank god. Mom, if you like these songs you should get the album. :p

Not many people will admit that they “jam to Taylor Swift” but I just did and I’m not ashamed of it. Well, I’m also not ashamed of admitting to a lot of things…so that doesn’t say much. Anyways, I’ve only recently discovered her newest album (which is like a year old, yes I’m slow) and it’s surprisingly really good. Here’s my one of my fav tracks:

Other than that, I’m totally loving “Love Story” and “You belong to me”. She has a song called “Hey Stephen” as well which I cannot listen to as it has lyrics like:

For obvious reasons…

If I were to write my own version of “Hey Stephen”, it would involve the iPhone, Xbox, PS3, Batman, korean food and Monkey Island. Actually that would be a good song.
