In contrast

In contrast to the Shinee post below, Big Bang’s most talented member Tae Yang has released his first music video from his debut solo album and I love it to bits! And this isn’t even his first single…you can hear a short teaser of his first single at the end of the video and it sounds soo good:

This song is totally going to keep me entertained at work tom. I’ve realized that I can’t live without music at work..and I’m not the only one. Majority of the people there have headphones on while working…while I saw one dude watching Naruto at the corner of his screen and doing 3D stuff at the same time. Don’t think he did much. :p

Wtf…

Has SM done to Shinee? Their newest single is just atrocious:

It sounds like that crazy frog song. :O

Officially a fangirl

That maths group

I like the song.

Shame on me. :(

Humming Urban Stereo

Chiinz was telling me about this Korean electronica artist called Humming Urban Stereo and since then I can’t seem to stop listening to his stuff.

Humming Urban Stereo – Space Loves Disco (feat. Simone of ‘D`Sound)

Humming Urban Stereo – Scully Doesn’t Know (Korean version)

This one’s an interesting track…he used Mickey Rourke’s narration from Sin City to create the song:

Humming Urban Stereo – Goldie

If you like these chillaxin’ tracks, I really recommend trying to get his albums. :)

Maths time

Every time I think that SM Entertainment can’t come up with worse names for their groups, they prove me wrong. Every. Single. Time.

First, they came up with group names which no one can remember cause they’re in Korean (Dong Bang Shin Ki and So Nyeo Shi Dae).

Then they came up with Shinee (pronounced as shiny), a group of 5 boys.

And now, they’ve resorted to names that aren’t even words. Below is a teaser for their new girl group called f(x).

If you did watch the video above, you must be wondering…wait I thought you said girl group. What is that guy doing there? Here’s a picture for better reference:

Bravu Sound

If you’ve been listening to Korean songs for the past few years, you must recognise this strange autotune sound that sounds like “bravu sound”, the trademark of Korean composer Brave Brothers. He’s been everywhere composing for most artists who are in the top 30 chart or something. As for me, I will forever love him for giving us After School’s Bad Guy, the most kickass Korean song ever :P . Here are a few songs from his first mini-album, not the greatest songs he has done but I still find them pretty catchy:

Invisible (or Invizaable):

Bittersweet:

He has a pretty good English song as well which he sent as a demo to the US and it leaked onto youtube. But they’ve removed it now. :(

My Ear’s Candy

More cheesy Korean techno/pop music. I love it :P

Performance:

The two guys up in front were definitely feeling it.
